Originally from Toronto, Canada, Rick has built projects around the globe in the US, Brazil, China, and Russia. A former LogicPrep instructor, Rick led the launch of the company's first satellite office in São Paulo, where he saw the office grow from working with its first Brazilian student to helping hundreds of Brazilians navigate the college application process. 

Rick's corporate experience spans the services and manufacturing sectors, as well as marketing and digital media functions; fundraising through government grants and research & development programs; operations; real estate development; and mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. 

Rick is a cum laude graduate of Harvard, where he studied negotiation, decision-making, the sociology of organizations, and completed course work at both Harvard Law and Harvard Business School. Rick is a co-founder of the Harvard chapter of Kairos, an international organization of entrepreneurs. As a director and choreographer, he helped bring a new form of immersive entertainment to China, and his theater, film, and dance works have been featured live and online at Madison Square Garden, Entertainment Weekly, NPR, and the Huffington Post.
