Duke University, B.A. in Political Science concentrating in International Relations, minor in Religion

Jamie has been a full time tutor with LogicPrep for over 15 years. He helped build LogicPrep’s math and verbal curricula through multiple iterations of the SAT and ACT, contributes to the development of our proprietary software, and trains and mentors the tutoring team. He is a testing virtuoso who has dedicated his career to mastering multiple standardized tests – from the SAT and ACT to the GRE and LSAT. 

No matter what he is teaching, Jamie brings a thoughtful approach and calm demeanor to inspire confidence and help his students maximize their potential. He also helped to establish and serves on the Board of the The Jesse Kolber Foundation, which provides both access to and financing for college to high-achieving students who have demonstrated resilience, financial need, and a commitment to academic excellence. 

A deeply logical thinker who beats everyone at board games, Jamie is the person you look forward to playing with anyway; his approachable, reassuring confidence makes him an empathetic and effective coach no matter what he is doing. When he’s not teaching, Jamie spends his time with his wife and two daughters, and Yogi, his dog.
