Jerry has wide-ranging teaching experience, and has helped students succeed at a variety of standardized tests, including the LSAT and (his personal favorite) the FBI Special Agent Exam. He loves puzzles, brain teasers, and word games, and he brings that love of mental sport to his teaching.
Jerry is currently working on a Ph.D. in philosophy, and so he always keeps one eye on the bigger picture. While helping his students, he strives to teach “beyond the test,” pointing out insights that students can carry over into their other academic endeavors.
Jerry is a native Spanish speaker and has lived in Puerto Rico, Germany, and Japan.
