After studying literature and philosophy at Princeton, Andrew spent a year in Germany as a Fulbright Scholar, thinking about the relationship between literature and life. Since then he's fully committed to the world of education, and he teaches 11th and 12th grade English in New Jersey. In his spare time, you might catch him sitting back with a book and a cup of loose leaf tea or exploring his new town in Jersey City.

Andrew has taught many kinds of students—from 4th and 7th graders in Germany, to high schoolers in New Jersey, to incarcerated adult students pursuing their college degrees. He enjoys working one-on-one with students to find what makes them tick, and he aims to make learning, school, and even preparing for standardized tests feel a little more human and engaging.
