Part Venezuelan and part Peruvian, Julián grew up in Venezuela, Panamá, the United Kingdom and the United States. He received a BA from Columbia University in Comparative Literature, and wrote a thesis on the novel and the introduction of electoral politics in Venezuela in the mid-twentieth century. Outside of his interests in literature, art, and cinema, Julián likes to cook and walk his dog, a poorly trained labradoodle called Luna. His goal at LogicPrep is to help students through the tough process of preparing for and attending universities that are far from one's home and family.
