Education
Harvard University, A.B. in Social Studies (Highest Honors, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa)
Sam is a graduate of Harvard, where he studied philosophy and economics. During his undergraduate years, Sam never went a semester without teaching, working both as an essay tutor at the Harvard Writing Center and a course assistant for two economics classes. He wrote an honors thesis in philosophy and maintains a large growing collection of philosophy books to ponder in his free time. Sam also played violin, arranged, and conducted for the Harvard Pops Orchestra, wrote for the Arts Section of the Crimson, and founded the Harvard Arts and Crafts Club with a group of friends.
Sam is passionate about working with students and hopes to inspire them to cultivate the same love of learning that has guided him throughout his life. He takes his curiosity with him to enjoy his many hobbies — from the piano bench to the violin stand, from the yoga studio to the tennis courts, or on hikes, ski trips, or other travels with his film camera.
