Jared graduated Magna Cum Laude from Princeton University with a concentration in Comparative Literature and a certificate in Creative Writing. While at Princeton, he wrote his first collection of stories under the guidance of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jeffrey Eugenides, and his fiction thesis won the Joyce Carol Oates award. When he is not reading, teaching, or working on a novel, he freelances for an immigration law firm to help foreign artists get work visas. Although he is a writer by trade and passion, Jared is excited to teach all SAT/ACT subjects, including math and ACT science.
