Ursinus College, Office of Admission

Jake has a decade of college admissions experience, including time at a liberal arts college, an undergraduate Ivy League institution, and graduate school. He started as a student tour guide and senior fellow (interviewer and presenter) and, shortly after graduating from Ursinus, Jake became a part of their full-time admission team as the liaison to all varsity athletics teams. Jake later joined the Undergraduate Admissions Office at The University of Pennsylvania as an Assistant Director of Admissions. He has also held Associate Director and Director roles in graduate admissions at Penn. In 2016, Jake was awarded the James McKeever Promising Professional Award by the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC); he was also selected to serve as a faculty member at PACAC's Summer Institute and sat on several panels at the association's annual conference.

A former baseball player and coach, Jake has always loved helping those on his team reach their goals while honing and developing skills that are transferable to life. He brings the same philosophy to college advising to help students feel confident, empowered, and knowledgeable in their admissions process.
