At LogicPrep, we understand how fortunate we are to have talented instructors and excellent resources to help our students succeed. That’s why we do everything in our power to positively impact the communities we work in. In addition to participating in and coordinating pro-bono efforts in connection with the Jesse Kolber Foundation, we make sure to use our resources wisely and conscientiously. We are also proud supporters of local charities, community groups, and high school teams. Contact us if you're interested in a sponsorship from LogicPrep.

Jesse Kolber Foundation Partnership

Jesse Kolber, the foundation’s namesake, graduated from the State University of New York at Purchase with a degree in music composition and production. After spending several years splitting his professional focus between music and education, Jesse founded LogicPrep with his wife Lindsay in 2007, with the goal of helping students to maximize their standardized testing potential and navigate the path to college success. Under Jesse’s guidance, LogicPrep has coached thousands of students of all backgrounds through this challenging and transformative period in their lives. He spearheaded a program to provide pro-bono college preparatory services to high-achieving low-income students, and he remained committed to these students’ trajectories throughout their undergraduate experiences and beyond. These students’ successes brought Jesse immense pride and joy for over a decade, until tragically, Jesse lost a difficult battle with cancer in the fall of 2017. Still, his impact his felt in every facet of LogicPrep, and our students’ continued successes are a testament to his work ethic, innovative spirit, and compassionate leadership.

To honor his legacy, LogicPrep and the Jesse Kolber Foundation will continue Jesse’s vision of supporting underserved students. Our scholarship covers the entire test preparation process for a limited number of students of demonstrated financial need. We select motivated thinkers who are passionate about learning and provide them with instruction and resources to maximize their potential. We are thrilled to work with our scholarship students and provide them with this incredible opportunity. Click here to read more about some of the amazing Scholars.

The Chordoma Foundation

The Chordoma Foundation is a nonprofit organization working to improve the lives of chordoma patients by accelerating research to develop effective treatments and helping patients to get the best care possible. Chordoma is a challenging and difficult to treat bone cancer that occurs in the head and spine in people of all ages.

After LogicPrep founder and CEO Jesse Kolber lost his life to a battle with chordoma in 2017, we made it our mission to do everything possible to put an end to these tragedies, so that other families don’t have to share our experience. As such, we donate a generous portion of our profits to fighting chordoma in hopes that more patients will safely recover, and in the future, we can move closer to a cure.

Environmental Practices

LogicPrep – an environmental company

Given how much paper we use every day, we make sure all of it, from printer paper to paper towels and toilet paper, are properly recycled. We use water-based cleaners for our polished concrete floors, countertops, and tables so that we don’t consume unnecessary chemicals. In addition, our LED lights last up to 10 times as long as standard incandescent light bulbs, and they use electricity far more efficiently. We’re glad that our energy and resource consumption practices minimize our impact on the environment, and we hope they set an example for our students to do the same. Together, the LogicPrep family of students and instructors can reshape how materials are used in education.

Yoobi Materials

LogicPrep supports Yoobi’s education fund

Here at LogicPrep, we use tons of notebooks, pencils, and other academic supplies on a daily basis. While it’s easy to take the school supplies we use for granted, lots of schools are unable to provide these essentials to their students. To help address this inequity, we purchase notebooks and other supplies from Yoobi, a company that matches our school supply purchases by donating to schools and students in need. This means that for every notebook we buy, Yoobi supplies a notebook to someone who otherwise wouldn’t be able to buy one. Materials move fast here at LogicPrep, so our Yoobi purchases really make a difference!
