You've probably talked to him on the phone quite a few times, and I'm sure you've seen his smiling face around the office. Today, we're getting to know Ben!
Ben graduated with a BA in Philosophy and a minor in Cognitive Science from SUNY Geneseo, where he discovered his love for theater. He performed in and directed a number of plays while at college, and is currently studying acting at the William Esper Studio in New York. When Ben is not at LogicPrep or in class, he can be found playing tennis, binging on Netflix, or attempting to cook the perfect omelet.
Where did you grow up?
Ben: Right around here, actually! I grew up in South Salem and when to John Jay High School.
What is the last song you listened to?
Ben: The Hamilton Soundtrack has pretty much been on repeat in my house since I saw the show, so definitely a song from that. Probably "Helpless."
What was your favorite part of your college experience?
Ben: Meeting some of the most amazing life-long friends a person could ask for. We all make sure to get together every summer for a reunion weekend!
What advice would you give to your high school self?
Ben: Don't procrastinate. I was always someone to put off homework until the last minute, but it's so much easier if you do it bit by bit ahead of time.
What is a random fact about you?
Ben: I love accents. As an actor, I never really feel like I've understood a character until I have their voice down. However, I have the hardest time doing an Australian accent.
