After studying German literature and philosophy at Princeton, Andrew spent a year in Germany as a Fulbright Scholar, studying how media in the early 20th century affected the relationship between politics and literature. While at Princeton, Andrew worked as a learning strategies consultant and as a senior fellow in the Princeton Writing Center. He also volunteered in New Jersey correctional facilities as a tutor with incarcerated students pursuing their college degrees. He intends to become a career educator and study the relationship between pedagogy and civil society. He loves working with students on all subjects, helping them learn to study strategically for personal success—using their energy and effort not only to perform well, but also to get the most out of their education.
