Adam isn’t sure if he’s a New Yorker, Carioca (from Rio de Janeiro), or Paulistano (from São Paulo), but he has enjoyed helping students from all three places explore their academic passions. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Dartmouth College with a double major in History and Anthropology, Adam prioritized developing his language skills and helping guide those around him. After working in the Bronx as an investigator for one of the top public defender offices in the country, Adam transitioned to working full time in education. When he isn’t in the classroom, he enjoys playing pick-up soccer, cooking, and listening to podcasts. Adam brings his passion and desire to learn to whatever he does, whether that is teaching history or going fishing with friends.
